• 855,000 mobiles a year are flushed down the toilet by accident


• 810,000 are left in the pub


• 116,000 are wrecked in the washing machine


• 100,000 are left in the back of London cabs


• 58,500 are eaten by dogs


• Under 35's are 2.5 times more likely to lose or damage their mobiles than over 55's
